LEADERSHIP Mike Hess, Principal                       Mike Hess, PE, LEED® AP Principal Mike is head of Commissioning, bringing a sustainable design perspective to the department. He has commissioned dozens of projects, participating in OPR development, design reviews, specification and CX plan development, functional performance tests, training and systems manual creation. He has commissioned building controls, HVAC&R systems, rainwater harvesting and greywater systems, Photovoltaics, solar hot water systems, and lighting controls.
	So, what is it? The short version: it’s the assurance that the equipment and systems installed in facilities are operating and performing as designed.
